Nyege Nyege Kenya Edition that was scheduled to take place at Savannah Grounds Park in Naivasha from the 1st to the 3rd of September 2023 has been postponed to Friday 3rd of November running up to 5th November 2023. In a statemen that was released by the organizers and the promoters of the show, various factors that together they make up success of such an event were not met and as per the plans, – offering an experience of a lifetime. The statement further added that, the decision to reschedule the event was influenced by a confluence of factors beyond the control of organizers including logistical considerations, ensuring optimal event infrastructure and aligning with the availability of key stakeholders. The organizers promised to make the experience of the event on the new scheduled dates unforgettable and all ticket holders were assured that their already purchased tickets will still be valid for the new dates. For those ticket holders who will be unable to attend the event on the new dates, were asked to visit the official event website and social media pages where more information will be availed. The organizers apologized for any inconveniences this postponing might have brought and asked all fans to remain patient as the work day and night to make the event a success.

The Kenyan promoters behind Nyege Nyege The Kenyan edition came out clear putting out a statement distancing themselves from the Nyege Nyege Festivals Uganda. In the statement Nyege Nyege The Kenyan Edition asked media outlets, Jounalists and event organizers to refer to it as Nyege Nyege Kenyan Edition, distinguishing if from Nyege Nyege festival Uganda.
