Khaligraph Jones vs Tanzanian rappers.

Since Khaligraph Jones open challenge to Tanzanian rappers, there has been mixed reactions so far from both Kenyan artists and Tanzanian rappers. His ultimatum of 24 hours he gave the Tanzanian rappers has now expired, and all eyes are now set on him to see what he meant when he said he will go and take over the Tanzanian hip hop industry. On the 24th August 2023, during a live session on Instagram, Khaligraph Jones previewed a diss track in the making aimed at every hip hop artist in Tanzania especially the ones who have dissed him since his open challenge. He promised that the diss track will be available on YouTube on 25th August 2023 after shooting the video. Khaligraph Jones added that he is going to defeat Tanzanian rappers with their own style  – Swahili rap – unlike his identity rapping style – fast rap -. In conclusion Khaligraph Jones assured he will respect the greats of Tanzanian rap scene but for the rest of the industry he has put on warning.

 

As this feud continues to intensify, each side is trying very hard to emerge superior and prove to the world that between Kenyan rap industry and Tanzanian rap industry which one is bigger. In Tanzania, rapper  Fido Vato had a strong message to Khaligraph Jones and he said he is not afraid of him – Khaligraph Jones- and he is ready to fight him in the ring. Rosa Ree has continued her attack by releasing yet another diss track titled “Mama Omollo” which is translated to (Khaligraph Jones mother). The track is gaining traction online and in response Khaligraph Jones commented on Rosa Ree’s Instagram post “Alaf ntakutumia invoice, you needed me but ngoma iko sawa, sio mbaya”, translating to (I will send you and invoice, you needed me but the song is okay it’s not bad). Rosa Ree wrote back, “@khaligraph_jones acha maneno ulikuja na ngoriiii alafu ukatoa ngoma ya kutubu eti ma bro wamekulea. Rudi studio my son go make your mama proud. Naenda kunyonyesha kaka yako”, translating to (Khaligraph Jones leave the words, you came breathing fire then you are releasing a song paying tribute to Tanzanian brothers for rasing you in music. Go back to studio son and make mama proud. I have gone to breast feed your brother).

 

 

In Kenya, Stevo Simple Boy came out in defense of Khaligraph Jones. In an Instagram story, Stevo wrote “Naskia mna vita na sisi maraper wa Kenya kabla hamjafikia @khaligraph_jones the OG kwanza mpitie kwangu niwape ngumi nyeusi michano ya kizagazaga oya @bando_tz kweli una bandle za vita na ivi @younglunya_tzs umevaa mshipi vizuri @ni_ngesh ebu tusichokeshe @khaligraph_jones ebu mjibu @rosa_ree”, translating to ( I hear there is a war and before Tanzanian rappers gets to Khaligraph Jones you have to go through me first. Bando do you have enough data bundles? Young Lunya fasten your sit belt and Ngesh Ngesh lets not tire Khaligraph Jones respond to Rosa Ree). On the other hand, Willy Paul weighed in and he sent a warning to Tanzanian music industry. In the video, Will Paul said as there is no rapper from Tanzania who is bigger than Khaligraph Jones, there is no singer in Tanzania who is bigger than him. All eyes are now on this ongoing feud to see how it will end and who will be the winner.
