Kenya’s Nadia Mukami wins Best Female Artist East Africa at AFRIMMA Awards 2023 – Winners Full List

Nadia Mukami is having by far the best year of her glamorous career so far when it comes to her music and the success it’s bringing to the table for her. Adding to her latest achievements, Nadia Mukami is over the moon after she emerged victorious during the prestigious 2023 edition of the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) during the award ceremony held on 17th September 2023 in Dallas, Texas, USA. Nadia Mukami was nominated under the Best Female Artist East Africa category alongside East Africa’s greatest female artists, Maua Sama, Nandy and Zuchu from Tanzania, Spice Diana and Azawi from Uganda, Hewan Gebrewold from Ethiopia and Nikita Kering and Fena Gitu from Kenya. This win comes days after Nadia and Arrowboy celebrated the birthday of their son Haseeb Kai, Nadia purchasing a new Range Rover, Nadia’s US tour and her nomination in the upcoming Trace Awards under Best Female Artist.

 

Other major wins came for Diamond Platnumz as he won Best Male Artist East Africa, Fally Ipupa won Best Francophone and he was given a Lifetime Achievement Award alongside Timaya (Nigeria).
