Music’s most anticipated album Alusa, why are you Topless?, by Bien has finally been released. The
16 tracks album marks a new beginning of Bien as a solo artist as it’s his debut solo album away
from Sauti Sol. Fans around the world are already familiar with Bien as part of the hugely successful
group Sauti Sol but Alusa, why are you Topless?, gives them a full experience of Bien as a solo artist. Sauti Sol’s success is sang across the music universe and the mark they are leaving behind is without a doubt a historic one.
Being a global recognized Grammy award winner, songwriter, singer and vocalist, the expectation behind the quality and sound of this album was very high. Following the success of “Bald Men Love Better” – which was a collaborative EP with Aaron Rimbui – the new debut album has not disappointed as its well curated around Africa’s urban sound cutting across Afropop, Rap, Afrobeat, R&B and Neo soul. Prior the release of the project, Bien had released four singles off the album.
