Sol Fest Last Dance enters day two on the 4th of November 2023.
Kenya’s celebrated boy band Sauti Sol revealed that this year’s Sol Fest is going to be special as it will mark their last performance together as a group. Dubbed the Last Dance, Sol Fest comes just months after Sauti Sol announced that they will be taking a break from Sauti Sol as a group and each member to concentrate on their solo projects. As a farewell concert ahead of their hiatus break, Sauti Sol promised their fans that this would be the experience of a lifetime.
The two-day event is set to cater for two different fan bases. Starting with the the VIP experience which took place on the 2nd of November 2023, Sauti Sol lived to their promise by offering a performance of a lifetime. Not only their performances caught the fans attention but also the surprise artists including fans favorite Nyashinski and P-Unit. Despite complaints by many on tickets pricing for the VIP Show – twenty thousand Kenyan Shillings (20,000Ksh) – those who attended witnessed a performance that was worth the charges. Gates were opened at 5:30 P.M. and guests were welcomed with drinks and biting, dinner was opened at 6:30 P.M. and closed at 8:00 P.M. Sauti Sol stepped on stage at 9.00 P.M. All eyes are set now on day two which is dubbed as Fan Show that will take place on Saturday 4th November 2023.

During a press conference on Wednesday November 1, 2023, the group also unveiled Coke Studio as a partner for their upcoming ‘Last Dance’ show. They couldn’t hide their excitement as this event is so close to their hearts and Coke studio are amongst the biggest supporters of music globally. Sauti Sol promised yet again that as individual members they intend to release a wealth of new music. Other partners include Safaricom, Sol Generation, Hustle Sasa, Oraimo, just to mention a few. The Fans show will be held at Uhuru Gardens and the gates will be opened at 4 P.M.
