What’s better than having a WhatsApp account? Well, of course, it’s having two. Meta has been advancing the users’ experiences regarding its services. WhatsApp has been the latest to go through changes, and Meta announced that they will launch multiple accounts on the platform. Multiple accounts basically mean opening more than one social media account per person. Instagram and Facebook – products of Meta – already have multiple accounts option and Meta is introducing the same on WhatsApp. This feature will give you the option of having two WhatsApp accounts logged in at the same time. This means you can easily switch between accounts – such as your work and personal – without having to log out each time or carry two phones.
In a statement posted on their official website under product news (WhatsApp), Meta noted that they are introducing the ability to have two WhatsApp accounts logged in at the same time. Helpful for switching between accounts – such as your work and personal – now you no longer need to log out each time, carry two phones or worry about messaging from the wrong place.
How to Open two WhatsApp Accounts.
To set up a second account, you will need a second phone number and SIM card, or a phone that accepts multi-SIM or eSIM. Simply open your WhatsApp settings, click on the arrow next to your name, and click “Add account”. You can control your privacy and notification settings on each account.
