In the midst of a heated feud between Kenyan rappers – led by Khaligraph Jones – and Tanzanian rappers, Khaligraph jones is set to perform at the Royal Regency in London, UK on the Saturday 2nd September, 2023. This comes after Khaligraph Jones has been on the front row of diss tracks from Tanzanian rappers. On the 23rd August 2023, Khaligraph Jones issued a challenge to all Tanzanian rappers calling them out to prove that they are the best when it comes to hip hop East Africa region. This caused traction and many rappers from Tanzania responded by dissing Khaligraph Jones, in return, Kenyan rappers stood by the OG’s side by dissing back Tanzanian rappers. Day by day this feud grew and on Monday 28th August 2023, Khaligraph Jones released “Bongo Favour” – a diss track aimed at the Tanzanian rappers. In response to his diss track, rappers from Tanzania continued releasing diss tracks aimed at Khaligraph Jones and Kenyan rappers to an extend of having over ten songs trending in Tanzania.
On the 30th August 2023, Khaligraph Jones posted a video on his social media account – Instagram – in the airport with the caption “Dares-salaam I’m on my way, see you in a few”. This got many talking and all the focus shifted now to Tanzania in anticipation to see what will happen once Khaligraph Jones lands in Tanzania. After few tense hours for all music fans in East Africa and those who have been keeping tabs on the whole Khaligraph Jones and Tanzanian rappers feud, Khaligraph Jones posted another video on his Instagram page with the caption “We here, The OG just touched down, this Saturday we be happening, Royal regency”. This has caught many by surprise as they were all waiting to see Khaligraph Jones in Tanzania. The feud is still ongoing and many are eagerly waiting to see the end game of it all.
